SUMMER CONNECT GROUPS  Begin the week of 6/4

What are Connect Groups? A Connect Group is usually 8 to 12 people who come together with similar interests. A variety of interest based groups for children, youth, and adults are offered three times a year. Why Connect Groups? Smaller is better. Jesus spoke often on the value of friendship and community. WOMEN'S BRUNCH • 6/10 • 10 AM Fellowship hall

Women's Ministry will be sponsoring a morning Brunch with Barbara Taylor who will be speaking on the benefits of decluttering for spring and on spiritual growth. Refreshments will be provided. RSVP to Amber Rex if you would like to attend, and also if you are able to bring a dish to share.

ELEVATE VISUAL ARTS CAMP • Rising 2nd-5th Grade  6/26-6/30 • 2-4 PM Daily

Join us as Silver Servants tour the North Carolina Museum of Art. We will meet at Mount Zion at 9:15 AM and ride in the van to Raleigh. Guests will visit museum galleries of their choice (complimentary) or arrange for a ticket to the Ruth E. Carter Costume or Michael Richard’s “Are You Down” Exhibits ($21). At 11:30 group meets for a 50-minute Docent Tour for $10 pp. Following tour, the group will enjoy lunch together in one of the museum cafes. CONFIRMATION RETREAT • 7/27 • 10 AM - 5 PM & 7/28 • 10 AM - 8:30 PM

Confirmation Retreat is designed to lead youth age students, 7th-12th grade, through receiving Christ as their personal savior, committing to a relationship with him, and what it means to belong to a church family.  At completion of this retreat, youth will be invited to be baptized, or confirmed, into the church as a member of Mount Zion GMC. Register HERE


Missions Team is sponsoring a service weekend at Joy Ranch, a Christian home for children, in Woodlawn, Virginia. This opportunity is open to all adults; in addition, youth may participate if accompanied by their parent/guardian. Over the weekend, participants will focus on small construction jobs, relational ministry, as well as other Joy Ranch needs. Please Register HERE by June 30th.
