SERMON SERIES • Don’t Quit

“I’m done.” “I am tired of fighting.” “I can’t keep going.” “I give up.” “I quit.” Sometimes people come right out and say it. Sometimes people’s capitulation becomes obvious in their actions or lack of actions. Sometimes people’s physical bodies convey the resignation that has occurred within their hearts. Discouragement, defeatism, and despair seem to be at an all-time high. God has something to say to us about it: “Don’t quit.” That’s not a blanket statement. Perhaps quitting your job or a bad habit or a particular club could be a positive move. But there are several specific actions that the Bible advises us not to quit. This sermon series addresses five don’t-quit-practices for every follower of Christ.
