If someone asked you what your church was like, what would you say? Would you describe the physical facilities? Would you list its events, ministries, and worship services? Would you talk about the staff and volunteers? Would you mention Jesus? What makes a church a church? The Bible uses a number of metaphors to depict the purpose and function of the church. This series of messages explores five of those images, giving us God’s idea of what the church is.
