Outreach at Mount Zion is our faithful response to God's grace. We serve by working together with partners, locally and globally, building relationships, directing our efforts to spread the gospel, help the poor, and provide practical assistance in the name of Jesus Christ.

Community of Hope Ministries

Mount Zion Global Methodist Church supports Community of Hope Ministries in Garner, NC, by participating in their Garden of Hope, Carpenter’s Hands, and Food Pantry efforts.
Community of Hope has an on-site garden where it grows fresh produce to give out through its food pantry. Each year, their garden produces thousands of pounds of fresh produce.
Carpenter’s Hands is a group that provides home repairs to “at-risk” citizens in the Garner, NC area. Widows, single mothers, senior citizens, and those with disabilities are eligible to benefit. The services include minor home repairs, lawn maintenance, and other household needs.

Currently, we are looking for individuals who are interested in helping with the Community of Hope’s Food Pantry pick-up at the Food Lion on HWY 50.

Able To Serve

Able to Serve is a faith-based, community-funded nonprofit organization that believes every person, regardless of their abilities, is created by God to live a full life. Able to Serve’s core service is a day program that provides adults with disabilities with a supportive environment where they can reach their full potential as an integral part of God’s creation. Their focus is on equipping them with life skills to be more independent and connecting them with opportunities to use their abilities to serve others in our community.
