Maundy Thursday Interactive Worship
Join us on Maundy Thursday, 4/2, at 7:00 PM in the Mount Zion GMC Fellowship Hall for an Interactive Worship led by Pastor Leonard Rex. This Service will also include Communion.
Easter Sunrise Service
Join us in the Cemetery for our Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 AM on Easter Sunday, April 5th. A light breakfast will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
Easter Sunday Choir Cantata: “I Surrender All”
Join us at the 11:00 AM Service in the Sanctuary as our Choir presents their Easter Cantata “I Surrender All”. About the Cantata: This powerful, transformative musical for Easter, I Surrender All, written by Russell Mauldin and Tony Wood, and arranged and orchestrated by Russell Mauldin, brings with it an encouraging and evangelistic message, and features heart-felt, praise-filled, soul-convicting songs both old and new. This musical invites all who hear it to surrender everything to Jesus, fully committing their hopes, needs, and lives to Him.
Church Office Closed - Easter Monday
The Mount Zion GMC Church Office will be closed in observance of Easter Monday on Monday, April 6th. The Office will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, April 7th.
Unpacking Easter: A Journey Through Holy Week
What is Holy Week all about? Join us as we explore the events of Jesus’ last week, from the celebrated entry into Jerusalem all the way through to the empty tomb. We will have lots of fun along the way, with an inflatable obstacle course, a missions project where your family can serve together, and of course, a very special egg hunt! Don’t miss out on a night of family fun that will prepare your hearts to experience Easter in a new way. *Free Dinner from 5:15-6:00 PM.

Feast on a variety of tasty home-cooked vegetables, including collards, potatoes, candied yams, green beans, and more. Top it all off with your choice at our dessert table: a delectable display of sweet cakes, melt-in-your-mouth pies, and that Southern staple—banana pudding. THE STORY BEGINS
Experience an event that unveils God’s Word as you’ve never known it before. As you walk through the Old Testament, you’ll realize that the Bible is coming to life and your knowledge of its people, places, and themes is rapidly increasing. In just a few short hours, you’ll see the big picture better than some who have studied for years. Like many others, you may walk away saying, “I never understood the Bible like this before!” Most of all, you’ll develop a deeper connection with the God who wants you to know Him and will never stop pursuing your heart. The more you understand His story, the more you’ll realize it’s your story too. And the more you realize it’s your story, the more His words will change your life.
STEP INTO THE STORY!
• Experience the story of the Bible in a way that makes God’s Word come alive.
• Learn 40 hand signs and stories designed to help you understand the big picture of the Old Testament.
• See beyond the facts of the Bible and encounter its author.
This is an event for all ages! Children are encouraged to attend! (Childcare available for children under 5)
Cost is $10 per person—select Adult Registration—Register each Adult attending or Register a Family for $20—select Family Registration—Register one Adult from the family.

Ash Wednesday Services: 7:30 PM
Ash Wednesday services will be offered at *Noon and 7:30 PM. The services will be held in the Chapel, lasting approximately 30 minutes, and will include the imposition of ashes and time for personal reflection. *Following the Noon service, a light lunch will be provided in the Fellowship Hall.
