Church Yard Clean-Up
The Yard Team invites you to come out and join us from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 6th for our fall church yard clean-up. Volunteers are asked to please bring supplies such as: shovels, pruning shears, rakes, work gloves, and wheelbarrows. For questions, contact Yard Team Chair Tim Cowell.
DISCOVERING MOUNT ZION
LOCATION: FELLOWSHIP HALL
Have you ever wondered about the "ins and outs" of Mount Zion? Have you considered joining the church but would like more information? If so, we invite you to attend our next Discovering Mount Zion class on Sunday, September 7th, from 12:15 PM until 3:30 PM. Lunch is provided at 12:15 PM in the Fellowship Hall and the class will follow lunch. Childcare is available upon request. RSVP in Realm or contact Donna Rex, Connections Ministries Coordinator, at donna@mountziongmc.org by Wednesday, September 3rd.
BBQ Chicken Lunch & Dinner Fundraiser
Join us on Friday, September 12th from 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM for our BBQ Chicken Lunch and Dinner Fundraiser!
Tickets are: $15 for adults, $7 for children ages 4-10, FREE for children 3 and under.
Plates Include: 1/2 Chicken, Boiled Potatoes, Green Beans, Roll and Dessert. Lunch orders of 5 or more can be texted/called in for local delivery. Texts/calls will be accepted from Sept 11th at 10 AM through Sept 12th at 10 AM at: 919-307-5556 (Texting Preferred). All net proceeds will go to Western NC Hurricane Relief.
