Easter at Mount Zion GMC

We can’t wait to see you for Easter on Sunday, April 5th.

To help you overcome some of the uncertainty and confusion that comes with visiting a new place, we've included some information below for our first-time guests this Easter.

What are your Easter service times?

  • 6:30 AM: Easter Sunrise Service - Located in the Cemetery

  • 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM: Traditional Service - Located in the Chapel

  • 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM: Contemporary Service - Located in the Sanctuary

  • 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Easter Choir Cantata (Musical Presentation) “I Surrender All” - Located in the Sanctuary

The 9:30 AM Service and 11:00 AM Cantata will be livestreamed on our Website, Facebook Page, and YouTube Channel.

Where do I park?

We have a large parking lot equipped with Handicap Accessible spots. Looking for something close to the door? We also have Guest Parking spots near the Sanctuary.

What about my children?

We encourage family members of all ages to attend worship together here at Mount Zion GMC. To support our families in this endeavor, we include a Children’s Message during the 11:00 service.  We also have a Children's Resource table located by the Welcome Table in the main sanctuary, with items to enhance the worship experience for children and youth.

Nursery will be available for children ages 5 and under during the 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM services. Need to take you child(ren) to the nursery? Stop by our Welcome Desk when you enter the Sanctuary and you will be taken right to it!

What should I wear?

What makes you feel comfortable! Most of our attendees dress casually, but if you're more comfortable in a coat and tie, you won't be alone. We believe that God is far more concerned with a person’s heart than his or her clothes.

Who will be preaching?

You’ll hear from our Lead Pastor, Leonard Rex at each of these services. You can read more about Pastor Leonard here.
